FIRST PATIENT APPOINTMENT
The first appointment consists of: specific upper cervical x-rays; full spine sectional x-rays; review the history of symptoms, report of findings, and initial spinal correction; post-adjustment upper cervical x-rays; a rest period of 60-120 minutes. During the rest period, the doctor will analyze the post upper cervical x-rays to determine if a complete correction has been made. The first visit may take up to 3-8 hours.
Depending on the misalignment, the first correction could hold for hours, days, weeks, months, or even years. A second visit will be scheduled seven days following the initial correction. Return visits will only take 5 to 30 minutes, and adjustments during any following appointments will not be made unless the alignment is lost, and the postural distortion returns. Future post-adjustment x-rays are only taken when it's deemed necessary. At McNally Spinal Care, the doctors strive to only have to see you once a year for an annual checkup.
